Now that you’re an official “maker,” we’re taking your design knowledge to the next level. Here, you’ll study product design in even more detail. Bring your imagination and create real solutions to real problems with your fun ideas.
What is a Makerspace? It’s a collaborative setting where students learn to explore their imaginations and design their ideas. Picture a science lab, woodshop, computer lab, and art studio all blended together for a hands-on educational experience.
In-Person Meets in Lehi, Utah at Thanksgiving Point.
Mondays 1:00-3:00 pm MST
Tuesdays 1:00-3:00 pm MST
Wednesdays 1:00-3:00 pm MST
Thursdays 10:30-12:30 pm MST

Understand foundational design thinking methodology and skills
How to unlock your creative potential
How to safely use a 3D printer, laser cutter, woodworking tools, and more!
How to connect science, technology, engineering, art, and math as you learn to create solutions to interesting problems
Using your imagination, tools, and materials – we can’t wait to see what you will invent!
Required $50 materials fee, payable to the lab during online registration and reimbursable from Technology Allowance

Q: How will I know when and where my classes are being held?
The time and general location will be available in Schedule Builder. Those who have enrolled in the class will receive an email from the Makerspace host facility with details at the start of the school year.
