Makerspace is a collaborative setting where students learn to explore their imaginations and design their ideas. Picture a science lab, woodshop, computer lab, and art studio all blended together for a hands-on educational experience.
Makerspace meets in-person in Lehi, Utah, at Thanksgiving Point. Students can access multiple great instructors and an environment where collaboration is encouraged.
Note: Only APPROVED schedules in InfoCenter will have a guaranteed spot in this program. Submitted schedules are processed as requests only until they are approved by parent support.
Makerspace Junior: Grade 4 - 5 (Age 9 - 10)
Makerspace Junior lays the foundation of a maker mindset and future Makerspace courses with an introduction to design and creation.
Makerspace Foundations: Grade 6 - 8 (Age 11 - 13)
Take your designs to the next level! Here, you'll study design and creation in detail. Have you ever wanted to build those ideas that are in your mind? You can! Bring your imagination, and you can create real solutions to real problems.
Makerspace Advanced: Grade 9 - 12 (Age 14 - 18)
Ready to take your projects to the next level? Want experience with woodworking tools? Whether you have worked in a Makerspace or are still new, this class is your opportunity to learn and create!

Participation Requirements
Required $65 materials fee, payable to the lab during online registration and reimbursable from Technology Allowance
